WV has sufficient basic food supply, prices within SRP – DTI

DTI Iloilo OIC-Provincial Director Felisa Judith L. Degala checks the price of alcohol in one of the stores in Iloilo City. The DTI VI conducts regular price monitoring and availability of basic necessities and assists in the Department of Health in monitoring the availability and market of prices essential items like alcohol, face masks and other medical supplies. Basic food necessities in major trading areas abide by the suggested retail prices (SRP) following the price freeze imposed by the government based on the monitoring conducted by the provincial offices of the Department of Trade and Industry in Western Visayas.
