DTI, Rep. Baronda partners for livelihood initiatives
DTI VI Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon discuss to Iloilo City Lone District Rep. Julienne “Jamjam” Baronda the possible interventions that the DTI could extend to the residents of Brgy. Baldoza in Lapaz, Iloilo City. A number of residents here produce native delicacies being sold in stores and nearby areas like fried lumpia, ‘suman,’ and ‘puto lanson,’ among others. DTI Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon and Iloilo City Lone District Rep. Julienne “Jamjam” Baronda are collaborating with each other on the possible projects to improve the working condition of micro entrepreneurs in the metropolis.
Fun run kicks-off Consumer Welfare Month this October
At least 210 participants registered in this year’s Consumer Fun Run on Sunday, September 29. The activity marks the beginning of the month-long Consumer Welfare Month celebration this October. A total of 210 participants registered and joined the recently concluded 4 th Consumer Fun Run initiated by the DTI VI which traversed the three-kilometer loop from the Sunburst Park to City Mall – Parola and back, on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2019.
