The main page of the DTI VI MSMEs website, www.r6heritageshoppe.com Consumers need not to travel the whole region anymore just to buy local products from the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo and Negros Occidental. A website for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Western Visayas has been provided by the DTI VI for these entrepreneurs to promote their products globally.

DTI, DPWH Region VI Convergence Program Consultation Meeting

DTI VI OIC Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon and DPWH VI Regional Director Wenceslao M. LeaƱo  Jr. lead the consultation/ orientation meeting of stakeholders and local government units on the DTI-DPWH Convergence Program: Roads Leveraging Linkages of Industry and Trade (ROLL IT) which was participated by more than 100 participants all over Region VI. Also, Board of Investments representatives Michael G. Boctot and Richard Galura presented the Revised Guidelines and Updates for the 2019 ROLL-IT Program. Together with DPWH District Engineers, stakeholders and local government units gathered for a consultation workshop and identified the access roads that needs rehabilitation or concreting leading to production areas of priority industry clusters in the region such as coffee, cacao, bamboo, coco coir, processed fruits and nuts, and wearables and homestyle.

DTI resumes establishment of shared service facilities in WV

The SSF for High-Speed Sewing in Brgy. Enclaro in Binalbagan, Negros Occidental. Some 49 additional shared service facilities (SSF) will be established this year to enhance the needs of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the region, with the Province of Antique getting the lion’s share of the project with 33 SSFs.
