Consumers need not to travel the whole region anymore just to buy local products from the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo and Negros Occidental. A website for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Western Visayas has been provided by the DTI VI for these entrepreneurs to promote their products globally.
With the www.r6heritageshoppe.com, consumers may now have a taste of Western Visayas.

The website provides a wide range of local products varying from apparels, bags, barongs, processed foods, gifts, decors and housewares, among others for the consumers to choose from.

Initially, 50 MSMEs in Region VI are featured in the website.

The website features entrepreneurs who were able to further develop and levelled-up their brands and packaging through the various programs and initiatives of the agency such as seminars and trade fairs.

“We believe that an online presence is significant for market penetration. With this website, local products are not only promoted within their communities or in the region, but also globally,” said DTI VI OIC Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon.
