DTI Guimaras conducts entrep seminar for OFWs

OFWs are briefed on how to invest their money during the entrepreneurship seminar.

  

As part of government’s advocacy programs to assist Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), the DTI Guimaras Provincial Office conducts an Entrepreneurship Seminar every second Tuesday of the month.

The seminar aims to assist OFWs or their family in setting up a business.

Four OFWs from Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore and Brunei attended the briefing at the DTI Guimaras Provincial Office on June 13, 2018. Information on how to start a business, qualities of being an entrepreneur and the necessary licenses/permits needed in starting a business were discussed during the briefing. To date, a total of 39 OFWs attended the Entrepreneurship Seminar given by DTI Guimaras.
