Aklan Product Showcase on its 16th Year
The Department of Trade and
Industry - Aklan Provincial Office gears up for its 16th Aklan
Product Showcase which will be staged at the Event Center, Lower Ground in SM
City, Mandurriao, Iloilo City from August 27 to September 2, 2018.
This year’s event is anchored on
the theme “Bagong Buhay Boracay” which highlights products of MSMEs affected by
the Boracay rehabilitation. Additional feature during the product showcase is
the launching of “One Aklan,” an online marketing platform for Aklan products.
There will be 38 enterprises that
will offer distinct designs conveying Aklanons’ creativity and passion such as
festive season embellishments, natural dyed fabrics, trendy fashion accessories
and souvenir items, and home and office furnishings as well as the famous meat
and bakery products available only in the province.
An opening program will be held on
August 27 at 2:00 in the afternoon. Top officials of the Province of Aklan, DTI
Officers, members of the Provincial Small and Medium Enterprise Development
Council (PMSMEDC) are expected to grace the opening.
The Aklan Product Showcase is open
from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
This annual marketing event is
organized by the DTI - Aklan with the Hugod Aklanon Producers Association,
Inc., and the Provincial Government of Aklan in partnership with the Aklan PMSMEDC.
