Mentor Me On Wheels, Money and Market Encounter invades Iloilo City
The
Department Trade and Industry and Go Negosyo will bring the Mentor Me on Wheels
(MMOW) in this city on June 21, 2019 at North Point Event Center, SM City
Iloilo in Diversion Road, Mandurriao District.
The
MMOW is a FREE one-on-one nationwide mentorship session with aspiring and
existing entrepreneurs. This mentorship event focuses on two topics with
regards to business mentorship: entrepreneurial mind-setting, and marketing.
Entrepreneurial
mind setting and values formation is the introduction to entrepreneurship or
the addition to knowledge thereof. This module primarily focuses on
establishing the foundation of a values-oriented entrepreneur who maximizes
resources effectively, capacitates his team objectively, honors obligations and
agreements religiously, and most importantly, manages and operates the
enterprise sustainably. This highlights the importance of taking risks in a
business venture and/or the scaling up of an established enterprise.
Going
beyond the basics of knowing the target consumers and locale of operation, the
module on marketing mindset bears crash courses on marketing strategy,
establishment of value proposition, and brand sustenance in a highly
competitive and dynamic industry while anchored on the company’s objectives,
capacity of production, and quality of output.
Each
mentee will be given 30 minutes to undergo a mentorship session.
A
total of 50 Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship-accredited mentors will
simultaneously listen and coach participants in various business industries
like food, manufacturing, healthcare, service, agriculture, creative, information
and technology, retail, and education, among others.
Moreover,
there will be a simultaneous Money and Market Encounter in one of the hotels in
the metropolis to 200 mentee-graduates of the Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) program
from Region VI.
Module
on markets will be discussed with partner institutions who are into digital
platforms, the brick and mortar and the cashless payment applications. Money
module will follow through as banking and other financial institutions present
their organization’s latest offering for MSMEs.
