Cement prices in Guimaras stable – DTI

The DTI Guimaras Provincial Office regularly conducts the monitoring on prices and supply of cement in the island province to ensure its availability in the market. Based on the monitoring conducted, cement prices remain stable for the past three months. 

Below is the three - month prevailing prices of 40kg bag cement in Guimaras:

Empress Cement, which is imported, is available in JAFC Construction Supply and New Guimaras Home and Agri Center Corporation, Barangay San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras. It is an imported cement with a Product Standard (PS) logo. This cement comes from Vietnam.   As of recent monitoring (August 22, 2018),  store owners said they do not encounter shortage of cement in the Province. (Melecia Pait/ DTI Guimaras)
