Launching of Aklan Product Showcase 2018

DTI VI Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon, Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship Adviser for Agripreneurship Ana Margarita Hontiveros-Malvar, DTI VI Asst. Regional Director Ermelinda P. Pollentes, DTI Aklan Provincial Director Ma. Carmen I. Iturralde and Hugod Aklanon Producers Association President Roselita Sauza lead the ribbon cutting ceremony along with other guests during the opening of the Aklan Product Expo 2018 at the SM City Activity Center on August 27, 2018. Anchored on the theme “Bagong Buhay Boracay,” the exhibit features products of MSMEs affected by the Boracay Island rehabilitation. The “One Aklan” e-commerce online marketing platform for Aklan products was also launched. A total of 52 enterprises displayed their products conveying Aklanons’ creativity and passion such as festive season embellishments, natural dyed fabrics, trendy fashion accessories and souvenir items, and home and office furnishings as well as the famous meat and bakery products available only in the province. The exhibit is open from 10am to 9pm which runs until September 2, 2018.
