DTI Antique SSF cooperators undergo coaching and mentoring

A total of 43 shared service facility cooperators undergo coaching and mentoring during the one-on-one coaching session with the mentors in the four major areas of business at the Pearl Garden Resort, San Jose de Buenavista on May 23, 2019. A total of 43 SSF (shared service facility) cooperators from the Province of Antique recently had the chance to apprise themselves in the operation of the facility and discuss with mentors their concerns in the areas of production, organization management, financial literacy and marketing.

DTI VI opens dairy processing facility in CapSU - Pontevedra

CapSU-Pontevedra Campus Administrator Dr. Mae D. Dumapig and CapSU President Dr. Editha C. Alfon receive the Usufruct Agreement from DTI VI Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon, represented by DTI VI STIDS and SSF Regional Focal Person Aurora Teresa J. Alisen and DTI Capiz Provincial Office OIC Ken Queenie R. Cuñada during the launching of the SSF on Dairy Milk Processing at the CapSU-Pontevedra Campus on May 21.  It all started from a business plan where students envisioned of having a dairy processing project at the Capiz State University (CapSU) – Pontevedra Campus. Now that aspiration is becoming a reality with government’s shared service facility (SSF) project being facilitated by the DTI.

DTI VI files admin raps vs business firm

The DTI VI has filed formal charges for violation of DAO 2: S. 2007 (Product Standards Law) DAO 4: S.2008 and DAO 5:2008 and pursuant to R.A. 4109 in relation to Art. 77 of R.A. 7394 against two (2) branches of a business entity in Iloilo City for selling and/or offering for sale non-conforming products under mandatory product certification during the monitoring and enforcement conducted by DTI VI Monitoring and Enforcement Teams last March 28-29, 2019.  The non-conforming products which included household electrical appliances (unbranded air-conditioning units, rice cooker, washing machine), sanitary wares (lavatories, toilet bowls) and electrical wirings (snap switches) have an estimated value of P466,000.00.  Summons have been issued against erring business establishments.
