DTI VI OIC Regional Director Rebecca M. Rascon leads the discussion on what actions and initiatives to be undertaken by the agency to the affected MSMEs on the impending closure of Boracay Island starting April 26. The Department of Trade and Industry has set its eyes in providing assistance to affected workers and displaced micro, small and medium entrepreneurs with the looming six-month closure of Boracay Island in Malay, Aklan.

Antique Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) were apprised with the various programs and services of the DTI Negosyo Center (NC) in the recently concluded OFWs Summit held at The Venue on April 11, 2018.

The Civil Service Commission VI has recommended the conferment of DTI VI of the PRIME HRM Bronze Award for meeting the core competencies and practices of Human Resource Management (HRM) Level 2 Maturity.  

The DTI Aklan Provincial Office gears up for its 20 th Aklan Piña and Fiber Festival to be held at the Trade Hall, Capitol Grounds in Kalibo, Aklan from 9:00am to 8:00pm on April 23 to 28, 2018. The opening ceremony will be held at 3:00pm on April 23, 2018.
