Cement supply, prices stable in Guimaras

Cement prices and supply in the Provicne fo Guimaras remains stable and sufficient, reported the DTI Guimaras Provincial Office as a result of the agency’s monitoring on prices and supply of cement in the island-province.

The prevailing price of a 40-kg Portland cement remains at P232, as of May 18, 2018.

Empress Cement, an impotrted cement from Vietnam, was also found in JAFC Construction Supply and New Guimaras Home and Agri Center Corp.  and sells at P227. 00 per bag. Store owners said they do not encounter shortage of cement. (DTI Guimaras/ Melecia U. Pait)
