DTI Aklan Provincial Office conducts skills training on crafts making and fashion accessories under the Negosyo Serbisyo sa Boracay. The activity is part of the initiative of the DTI Boracay Rehabilitation Project with the assistance of Negosyo Center Malay and City Mall Boracay.

Participants learn how to make earrings, bracelets and necklaces and embellishments for fashionable items

A total of 67 participants learned how to make fashion accessories like earrings, bracelets and necklaces, and likewise putting of embellishments on slippers to make it more attractive to prospective customers. This training would give them the opportunity to raise income while waiting for the re-opening of Boracay Island by selling the items not only in the island but also in mainland Malay and nearby areas.
